About Us

Deaf Nigerians in the UK (DNUK) was established in February 2015 to unite Deaf people of Nigerian origin living in the UKparticularly those based in London and the South East. Our mission is to build a strong, inclusive, and supportive community where members can socialise, network, and celebrate Nigerian heritage, especially through our annual Nigerian Independence Day celebrations.

We believe that heritage and identity are essentialnot only to preserve our history but to inspire and empower future generations. Nigeria's National Flag

Nigeria National Anthem

Nigeria we hail thee,

Our own dear native land,

Though tribe and tongue may differ,

In brotherhood, we stand,

Nigerians all, and proud to serve our sovereign Motherland.

Our flag shall be a symbol

That truth and justice reign,

In peace or battle honoured,

And this we count as gain,

To hand on to our children

A banner without stain.

O God of all creation,

Grant this our one request,

Help us to build a nation

Where no man is oppressed

And so with peace and plenty

Nigeria may be blessed.
